Established in 2012 in Tampa, FL. From the best handcrafted tacos, Award Winner Guacamole Catrinas to homemade moles and salsas, Catrinas will bring you through the North Country of Mexico Guadalajara, Jalisco (origin of the Mariachi and Tequila) to Baja California.


Our traditional Mexican cuisine is cooked to order using the freshest ingredients, locally sourced vegetables and imported spices showcasing chiles en Nogada (seasonal only) originated in Puebla Mexico, delicious and fresh Mexican sea food, with a touch of Chef Tis's artsy and colorful unique elaboration.


With our new innovative counter service restaurant with made-to-order concept you can enjoy our handcrafted tacos featuring fresh made tortillas, enchiladas, tamales and our award winner guacamole in a more casual  and hype environment.  Our private Mexican Speakeasy 1900 vault room is available for special occasions, private dining and bottle service only. Chef Tis is happy to create that special menu just for you!

Catrinas also has a folk and eclectic art gallery inside promoting the festive Day of the Dead theme (Dia de Los Muertos) and name origination, handmade furniture and fixtures and Chef Tis own private painting collection.

Chef Tisbeth Mejia Born in Guadalajara Mexico showcases the Authentic  Fresh Mexican Gastronomic Thematic of Jalisco Mexico, award winner Guacamole, the Best Tequila selection of the Tampa Bay Area featuring the best tequilas and  handcrafted margaritas. Our bar showcases the best handcrafted cocktails and tequila flights with the highest fresh quality local and imported ingredients in an Upscale and Artsy fare.
